Since the announcement of the acquisition in December 2020, a dedicated project team have worked hard to ensure everyone has the information and support they need for a smooth transition. On day one, members of the Tivoli management team made solo visits to various sites across the UK to meet some of the new teams, welcome them to the business and answer any initial questions. All visits were co-ordinated to ensure COVID guidelines and safety measures were in place at all times, balancing the ambition to personally welcome the new team members with the need to keep everyone safe. With this in mind, a video message from the CEO was circulated across the whole business to capture those that didn’t receive a visit.
Darren Cunningham, Tivoli Chief Executive Officer, said:
“Our key focus over the last 6 weeks has been, and will continue to be, ensuring everyone has the support and information they need throughout the transition. We have some exciting times ahead of us, and we’re thrilled that our new team members, customers and suppliers will be part of that journey.”
The acquisition has strengthened and enhanced Tivoli’s service portfolio, self-delivering grounds maintenance, landscaping, arboriculture, winter maintenance, and interior plants and floristry. It marks the first stage of Tivoli’s strategy to grow both organically as well as through acquisitions, and further develops Tivoli’s extensive national coverage.
