Working with our client Your Housing Group, a special Potting Day was held at Mosslands Extra Care Village in Warrington in July 2022.

Tivoli donated £500 worth of plants to help revitalise Mosslands gardens. Our team worked alongside residents who brought along a pot, rolled their sleeves up and got their green thumbs out, with planting efforts alongside chats and catching up.

The residents all enjoyed the day, saying:

“The communal areas look lovely. I can’t look after the garden myself but I like to come and sit out here and look at the grounds.” – Margaret

“I’ve really enjoyed the day, thank you. I’m going to enjoy looking after my plants” – Eric

“It’s been great and I even got some advice about looking after my hanging baskets” – Graham

Russ Nixon, Social Value Manager from Your Housing Group’s Community Regeneration Team, said:

“A big thank you to my colleagues at Your Housing Group, and Tivoli who not only donated materials and plants to the scheme, but worked so hard today to help residents enjoying their potting day. It has been wonderful to get outside and enjoy the garden with our residents. The past couple of years has been difficult for so many, so it has been wonderful to see them outside today and realise our vision of creating more places for people to thrive.”
