Tivoli Group Ltd is proud to announce that it has achieved ISO 27001:2013 certification for information security management systems (ISMS) through QMS International, further demonstrating the company’s commitment to the highest level of internal compliance and security.
ISO 27001 is the internationally recognised standard for Information Security which is published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). The standard provides the framework for an effective Information Security Management System (ISMS). It sets out the policies and procedures needed to protect organisations and includes all the risk controls (legal, physical and technical) necessary for robust IT security management.
Recent legislation and privacy laws like GDPR have highlighted the increasing attention paid to data protection and security. The standard sets more than 100 requirements for the creation of a comprehensive ISMS related to the physical security of facilities, software product security (from development to delivery environments and processes), financial information, and HR processes and personnel. Tivoli’s certification means that customers can expect systematic and ongoing management of information security risks that can affect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of corporate and personal information.
