Tivoli Group Ltd is proud to announce that it has achieved certification to the first international standard for Occupational Health and Safety ISO 45001:2018, replacing its existing OHSAS 18001 certification.
ISO 45001:2018 is a globally recognised occupational health and safety standard developed and published by the International Organization of Standardization (ISO). ISO developed the standard to help organisations improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks, and create safer working conditions. By meeting the new requirements, Tivoli continues to demonstrate its commitment to protecting its employees with proactive risk prevention, innovation and continual improvement across its UK-wide grounds maintenance service network and supporting business functions.
The ISO 45001 standard also requires organisations to prove active employee engagement with health and safety and leadership commitment. The achievement validates Tivoli’s ‘one team’ approach and confirms a safety culture that is embedded within its business objectives and strategic aims.
Spencer Rock, Chief Operating Officer, Tivoli said:
“We are thrilled to achieve this prestigious ISO 45001 certification, demonstrating Tivoli’s commitment to employee well-being and our responsibility to protect the health and safety of our employees. It is an important accomplishment and the direct result of the hard work and commitment of the entire Tivoli team. ISO 45001 aligns with other key international standards Tivoli has achieved including ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. Well done everyone!”
